neoLaser EVLA
- for varicose veins

The neoV laser is the world's most compact minimally invasive endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) system for the treatment of small to large varicose veins.

This state-of-the-art technology delivers unique 1470nm energy, which results in less collateral thermal damage due to the precise use of energy to coagulate the vein, with minimal impact on neighbouring structures.¹  We also have the 1940nm wavelength laser available.

The neoLaser Advantage
  • Optimal Wavelength: neoLaser Endovenus Laser Ablation EVLA for Varicose Veins
  • 1470nm energy is more localised when applied in blood and soft tissue, leading to lower complication rates, allowing patients an early return to daily life¹.
  • Optimal Energy Delivery: neoLaser’s fibre technology provides 360 circular emission in the vein wall, resulting in successful long-term occlusion rates.¹
  • EVLA Presets: The neoV laser platform comes with presets synchronised to the pullback speed of the fibre, which provides clear audio feedback to ensure uniform pullback speed and efficient application of laser energy dosage.
  • Portability: neoV laser is the most portable EVLA unit on the market weighing 3.5 kg. It comes in a customised suitcase that can be transported to multiple clinics.

CORONA Infinite Ring Fiber

- for use with neoV 1470 & neoV 1940 lasers

The CORONA Infinite Ring Fiber is the newest addition to the CORONA fibers family. The CORONA Infinite Ring Fiber is a groundbreaking development for endovenous laser treatment in patients with venous insufficiency.

Providing radial emission from a continuous section of ~4mm length, it is the first ever fiber to enable optimal uniformity of energy deposition ALONG the vein wall. This leads to potential reduction in sticking, carbonization and excessive thermal damage; properties of special importance when working in critical areas which are sensitive to complications.

The fiber tip is fused to the fiber body for optimal safety, and as such, presents the latest fiber technology currently available on the market for endovenous laser treatments.

The Corona Infinite Ring Fibre delivers an homogenous radial pattern along along a continuous  ~4mm  section, without front firing.

POPstix®

The POP-Q score is the main clinical tool used to identify the severity of pelvic organ prolapse and the anatomical success or failure of prolapse surgery. Accuracy of measurements is to the nearest 0.5 cm, yet to date there is no easy-to-use measuring device to perform POP-Q scores.
Currently gynaecologists make-do with using swabs, pap smear sticks, fingers or pipelles to measure POP-Q values, making measurements imprecise and rather cumbersome.

Mediplast ENT Disposables

The Mediplast ENT products are the leading single use choice. Doctors all over the world prefer the Mediplast products for numerous reasons:

Guaranteed clean and sterile

It is time consuming and difficult to clean reusable suction instruments. There is a trend worldwide to use single use instruments in healthcare in order to improve quality control and avoid cross-contamination.

Cost efficient

The "real" price of a reusable instrument is the cost of cleaning and resterilising. Compared to a disposable product this is often higher than the cost of a Mediplast disposable product.

Specially designed for ENT examination and surgery

Mediplast metal and plastic suction tips are designed in close collaboration with ENT doctors. Important features such as the angle of the suction tip, which enable the doctor to have an unimpeded view through a microscope, and the suction control handle connector that facilitates quick change of suction tips during surgery, were all the result of ensuring the needs of an ENT Specialist were met.

neoLaser Colorectal
 - for treatment of Anal Fistulas, Haemorrhoids and Pilonidal Sinus Disease

The neoLaser neoV1470 diode laser system and radial-firing CORONA Fistula and Haemorrhoid probes provide a minimally invasive, sphincter-sparing treatment solution optimised for the management of anal fistulas, haemorrhoids and pilonidal sinus.
Studies suggest that the precise delivery of energy leads to lower complication rates, minimises the risk of long-term incontinence, and allows patients an early return to daily life.¹ ²

The neoV1470 Advantage
  • Optimal Wavelength: The neoV1470 delivers localised laser energy, which thermally ablates and occludes the abnormal pathway. This precise use of energy results in less collateral thermal damage beyond the fistula and sinus wall.¹ ²
  • Delivery: The CORONA Fistula Probe is designed specifically to treat a fistula tract or pilonidal sinus. The 360º radial-firing laser probe distributes energy circumferentially directly to the epithelised tissue. This ensures homogeneous thermal destruction of the tract, resulting in successful long-term occlusion rates.¹ ²
  • Audible feedback and markings down the length of the fibre ensure uniform delivery of energy, improving surgical control.
  • Efficiency: The system incorporates a high-quality touch screen and patented plug-and-play laser fibres, providing flexibility that saves procedure time.
  • Portability: neoV is one of the most compact systems in the market weighing only 3.5 kg. neoV can be transported to multiple operating theatres

PTQ Implants

PTQ is an injectable soft-tissue bulking agent for implantation in the Internal Anal Sphincter (IAS) used to treat passive faecal incontinence due to a weak or disrupted internal anal sphincter.

The procedure is minimally invasive and technically simple (Ref 1). It can be performed under local anaesthesia in an outpatient setting.

Proven Performance
  • Up to 95% of patients show a significant improvement in incontinence scores (Ref 2,3)
  • Provides sustainable improvement for 12-24 months (Ref 2-10)
  • Improves patient quality of life (Ref, 2-4, 7, 11)
  • Reinjection is safe and effective (Ref 5)
  • Helps improve anal asymmetry index which may be linked to increased maximum resting anal canal pressures (Ref 2)

MEDICAL STORAGE SOLUTIONS

Scan Modul

The Scan Modul system is an intelligent storage solution based on a space efficient, modular approach to constructing the storage infrastructure within hospitals. The modules used are interchangeable between the various storage systems available, so that the storage can be adapted to the current and future needs of the hospital.

Coupled with the physical hardware, is the process and workflow for materials management. The Scan Modul system is designed to take advantage of recognised best practice methods for managing inventory and replenishment of supplies using the "no-count" concept. The Scan Modul Data System (SMDS) and hTrak software solutions complete the picture! Intelligent storage begins with intelligent modules.

Since a hospital operates in a dynamic environment, it needs a flexible solution that can easilyadapt to new conditions. Therefore, Scan Modul have created a modular storage system based on ISO-standard measurements 600x400 millimetres. The concept provides two set-up possibilities. The first possibility is called ”A” insert, in which the module is inserted with the narrow end of the module first (400mm). The second possibility is called “B” insert, in which the module is inserted lengthwise (600mm).

All modules are fully interchangeable and offer endless possibilities. The concept also allows modules to move freely throughout the whole system. This provides you with the possibility to arrange, change and reorganize the set-up as you wish! Dividers turn every module into a small, tailor-made and easily modifiable storage system in itself. Build your own systems with modules made from steel, acrylic or ABS.
